About Us
Joel
Joel is the College Advisement Director at a local high school. He challenges and encourages students to understand their gifts and talents and pursue their calling in life.
Joel is absolutely amazing and I’m so thankful to have him as my husband! He has such a comfortable, inviting demeanor that makes everyone feel at ease. He loves to be active, is incredibly creative and has a spirit of adventure! So many people tell me that he is such an influential role model to their children. I love watching him invest in people whether challenging our nephews and nieces to a game of dodgeball, teaching kids how to surf or taking time to listen and encourage someone who needs it. He will be such a caring, supportive, and fun father!

Melissa
Melissa is a former TV news anchor/reporter who now works for several production companies as a TV host. She also manages the social media for the high school where Joel works. Her projects are flexible and she often works from home.
I’m the luckiest guy to be married to Melissa! I so appreciate who she is and what she means to me. She is a friend of many and I love seeing her operate in her gifts of mercy and compassion. Melissa is talented, organized, articulate and always possesses a joy that is attractive to me and to those around her. She has built meaningful and lasting relationships with her close friends from an early age, which speaks to her consistent care for others and a heart that wants to “really” know people. In witnessing these beautiful qualities about my wife over the years, I’m so excited and confident to raise kids with my amazing partner.
